Accountancy is an exciting and rewarding career option. In order to enter the profession it is essential that you have work experience (not necessarily related to accountancy, but where there are transferable skills).

Whilst graduates entering accountancy come from a variety of degree specialisms, those who have taken degrees in accounting and finance, or some areas of science and engineering are more highly sought after.
