Budget Group Limited

Budget Group Limited has its headquarters in Peterborough and also has offices throughout the UK. The Company is part of an international group, Budget Group Holdings.

The original company, Budget Insurance Company Limited, began trading in 1992 selling household and car insurance as a privately owned insurance company responsible for underwriting its own risks. Budget was a pioneer in motor insurance selling monthly and later annual policies and pioneering the creation of a paperless insurance environment. In September 1999, Budget Insurance Services commenced the sale of home insurance offering both buildings and contents insurance.

Budget’s mission is to be the first choice provider of quality financial services, which are accessible, easy to understand and easy to use. This is Budget’s underlying aim in all its marketing, sales and recruitment activities aimed at "success through innovation". Budget also aims to be an employer of choice.
